Toile.  I have to say that before I began planning this lovely affair, toile wasn’t really on my design radar.  But, holy gorgeous, right?  There is something so classic, yet so fresh about this blue and white print, and it felt absolutely perfect for an August garden wedding.  I can’t really give myself credit for the toile though, that was the idea (er, obsession) of the bride, one of the most stylish ladies whom I have ever met (seriously, go check out her blog here.)

A huge thank you to all the fabulous vendors, you really made some magic happen with this one!

Screen Shot 2014-10-02 at 3.30.28 PMAs Miranda Hattie Events has grown and I’ve become more and more busy planning the most beautiful weddings for the most amazing brides, I’ve done fewer editorial shoots, not because I don’t enjoy it (I love the full out creativity that comes from putting these together!) but because I just haven’t had time.  But when Celia contact me with the idea for an elegant Peruvian-inspired styled shoot, I was intrigued.  Once I saw her Pinterest board, I was sold!  Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about some white and blush, but I was ready to create something bold with tons of rich color and texture.  It all came together on a slightly stormy day in June and I absolutely love the outcome.  Celia’s photos were shared on 100 Layer Cake this week, be sure to check out the feature.  She was kind enough to let me shoot too and it was so much fun to play both stylist and photographer!  My favorite images are below and for more of my photography, check out mirandahattiephotography.com!

Over the moon pretty much sums up how I feel about this wedding being featured in PRINT!  The latest copy of Utterly Engaged Magazine comes out today and I couldn’t be happier that this utterly creative, inventive and sweetly personal wedding will be gracing its pages.  Thank you so much to the fabulous team that made it happen and to the awesome bride and groom that made it possible.
